As the seasons change, our routines often do too. Maybe you're protecting your mental health by saying no a little more often. Taking a real lunch break. Going to bed earlier. Scheduling therapy. Spending less time on your phone. Or simply admitting when you're overwhelmed. Whatever it looks like for you, we'd love to hear it. Fill in the blank: ""This fall, I'm protecting my mental health by _______."" Share your answer in the comments, you might inspire someone else to do the same.

Ellie is here to support your mental health as the seasons change. Find a therapist in your area or online at https://bit.ly/4vriZFD

The car ride home can shape how young athletes remember their season. When kids hear they're valued for their effort, growth, and love of the game-not just the scoreboard-they're more likely to build confidence and enjoy playing. A few simple words can go a long way.

If you only let yourself rest after everything is done, you may never really get the chance. There will almost always be another email to answer, another chore to finish, or another task waiting for your attention. Rest isn't something you have to earn by pushing yourself to the limit. It's part of taking care of yourself so you can keep showing up for the people and things that matter. If guilt shows up the moment you slow down, you're not the only one-and it's something you can explore with support if it's getting in the way of everyday life.

College move-in day isn't just about boxes and dorm rooms. It's a transition-for students, parents, siblings, and families. You might feel excited for what's next while also grieving what's changing. That's normal. Big life transitions ask a lot from us emotionally, even when they're positive. If this season feels heavier than expected, you're not alone. Sometimes the biggest adjustment isn't unpacking your things-it's adjusting to a new version of everyday life.

Emotional regulation is one of those phrases we hear a lot, but it doesn't mean staying calm all the time or never having big feelings. It means noticing what's happening inside you, making space for those emotions, and having more choice in how you respond. Some days that might mean taking a break before replying to a text. Other days it might mean recognizing you're overwhelmed and asking for help. It's a skill, not a personality trait. And like any skill, it can grow with practice and support.

Success in youth sports isn't only about the final score. It's also about learning how to handle setbacks, encouraging teammates, building confidence, and discovering what you're capable of. Those moments may not show up on the scoreboard, but they can shape how young athletes approach challenges both on and off the field. As another season gets underway, celebrate the wins that can't be measured in points.

Micah starts seeing clients this week! If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy, THIS is your sign to reach out and get something scheduled!

We're excited to welcome the newest therapist to our team! 💙 Meet Micah Weaver, LAPC!

One of Micah's favorite parts of being a therapist is hearing people's stories. He believes every person has a unique story, and that understanding a person's experiences, relationships, strengths, and struggles is the foundation for meaningful change. Micah works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing a wide range of concerns. Whether he is helping a child learn to manage big emotions, supporting someone caught in the cycle of anxiety or OCD, or walking alongside a couple working to reconnect, Micah tailors therapy to each person's unique needs and goals.

Micah is now accepting new clients, has schedule openings as early as mid-August, and accepts insurance, making it easier to get connected with support when you need it most.

If you've been thinking about starting therapy or returning to care, now is a great time to reach out. We'd love to help you find the right fit.

As the back-to-school season begins, there's often a lot of focus on how children are adjusting—but they're not the only ones navigating a major transition.

Parents and caregivers are managing new routines, busy schedules, extracurricular activities, work responsibilities, and the emotional load of helping everyone else adjust. When so much is being asked of you, it's easy to overlook your own well-being.

If you've noticed yourself feeling more overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally drained, you're not alone—and you don't have to navigate it by yourself.

Taking care of your mental health isn't just beneficial for you; it also helps you show up in the ways that matter most for your family, work, and relationships.

If you're looking for a little extra support this back-to-school season, our clinicians are here to help. Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, or simply looking for a space to process life's demands, we're here for you.

💙 Your well-being matters, too. Start prioritizing your needs today at https://elliementalhealth.com/locations/malvern-pa/
