What a wonderful way to celebrate Grandparents Day and kick off National Assisted Living Week!

Our community enjoyed a special visit from Quiver Farms, bringing a traveling farm right to us! Residents, associates, and families had a wonderful time meeting and interacting with a variety of adorable animals, including a sheep, donkey, goat, bunnies, pig, ducks, turkey, and more.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and special memories made throughout the day. We’re so grateful to have shared this fun-filled experience with our community!

We are so proud of Dom and all he does for our community! Congratulations to an exceptional employee!

We might be over halfway through the year, but we're not even close to being done celebrating ten years of exceptional - by recognizing the people who bring our values to life every day.

Today, we’re so excited to announce Dom Reeder, a Life Enrichment team member and driver at Echo Lake as our company-wide Compassion Champion! His nomination came directly from resident Ron Mitala, who shared a moment from an outing to a concert at Immaculata University.

As residents returned to the van, Dom noticed Ron having difficulty navigating a rough, sloping walkway with his walker. He immediately came over to help Ron safely back to the van.

“I'd like to commend Dominic for going above and beyond his duties and caring for the safety of everyone on the trip,” Ron wrote.

At Solera, COMPASSION as a core value means being empathetic, caring, appreciative, fair, and inclusive. Dom brought that value to life by recognizing Ron’s need for support and stepping in with care.

Thank you, Dom, for the attention and kindness you bring to our residents. People like you have made our first ten years exceptional—and will help shape the years ahead.

Our residents had a wonderful day exploring The Franklin Institute! From fascinating exhibits and hands-on experiences to learning something new around every corner, it was a day filled with curiosity, discovery, and plenty of smiles!

Last evening, we enjoyed our monthly Tapas & Cocktails gathering on our 5th Floor Bar Terrace—and we couldn’t have asked for better weather! Residents mingled, enjoyed delicious bites and cocktails, and relaxed to the sounds of live jazz.

A special kudos to Nick, Laurie, and Charlie for creating another delicious, memorable, and enjoyable evening for our community!

Here’s to great food, good company, beautiful evenings, and wonderful memories! 🥂

A Hair-Raising Fundraiser for a Great Cause! 💙

Today was the big reveal! 🎉 Our Maintenance associate, Sean, bravely grew out his hair and mustache and put his new look in the hands of our residents! Residents voted on his hairstyle, beard style, and even the color—all while making donations to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

We are thrilled to share that, together as a community, we raised an incredible $1,161! 🎉👏

A huge thank you to Innovations A hair Salon for making Sean’s “do” possible, and to our gracious residents, families, and associates who donated and helped make this fundraiser such a success.

Thank you for coming together to have a little fun, support Sean, and make a meaningful difference for a great cause! 💙

Happy National Senior Citizens Day!

We celebrated with a fun and refreshing Wheelchair & Walker Wash!

A huge thank you to Holisticare Hospice for helping make our residents’ wheelchairs and walkers shine like new! Thank you to Coastal Health Connections for treating everyone to delicious water ice to help us cool down! And a special thank you to Move for Life Physical Therapy for inspecting our walking devices and helping ensure they were safe and ready to use. ❤️

We are so grateful for our wonderful community partners who help us make special days like this possible!

Our Living Art Gallery was a beautiful celebration of the incredible talent within our Echo Lake community. Residents had the opportunity to admire an inspiring collection of artwork, from paintings and drawings to sewing, crocheting, woodworking, and so much more!

The morning was made even more special with the beautiful sounds of a violinist and delicious hors d’oeuvres thoughtfully prepared by our dining team.

We are so proud to showcase the creativity, passion, and talent of our residents and celebrate the many ways they bring beauty to our community. 🎨🖼️🖌️

Residents enjoyed a beautiful pontoon tour of Marsh Creek! 🌿🚤 Our knowledgeable guide, who has been working at the park for more than 20 years, shared fascinating history about the lake along with some memorable stories from his many years at the park. It was a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the scenery, learn something new, and make lasting memories!

🌺🌴 Aloha from Echo Lake! 🌴🌺

Our recent Luau Party was a tropical celebration filled with delicious food, music, dancing, and plenty of aloha spirit!

Residents enjoyed a mouthwatering Hawaiian-inspired feast featuring a Hawaiian pig roast, Huli Huli chicken, banana-leaf steamed shrimp shumai, and so much more. After dinner, it was time to hit the dance floor! Residents donned their colorful leis and hula skirts and danced the evening away.

It was a wonderful night filled with laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories. Mahalo to everyone who helped make our Luau Party such a success! 🌺💛
