Get outside.

You don’t need a perfect setup today.
You just need to start moving.

Not every day is gonna feel like a good day.

Some days you have to say it out loud before you believe it.

Today is the day.

The day you get up.
The day you move.
The day you get out there.

The day you fight the battles nobody sees.

Because those battles count too.

The ones in your head.
The ones in your body.
The ones you carry quietly while the world keeps moving.

You don’t have to feel ready.

You just have to start.

You’re never gonna get today back.

That hits a little different when you really think about it.

This day is already moving.

The time is already passing.

And by tonight, we’ll either know we used it
or we’ll know we let it slip.

I’m not saying every day has to be perfect.

I’m saying today still matters.

Even tired.

Even hurting.

Even unsure.

Use today to prepare for tomorrow.

This morning felt different.

I’ll be honest, I didn’t really know what to say.

Life has changed so much recently that sometimes it’s hard to even put words to it.

But maybe that’s the message.

You don’t always need the perfect words.

You don’t need the whole plan figured out.

You don’t need to know exactly what comes next.

Sometimes you just have to get up.

Keep moving.

Take the next step in front of you.

Life is going to throw curveballs.

Some days they knock the wind out of you.

But they don’t get to keep you down.

Not today.

Something that’s on my heart this morning...

In a world filled with hate, arguments, division, and people standing on polar opposite sides of everything, I want you to know something.

I love you for who you are.

Not because we believe the same things.
Not because we see the world the same way.
Not because we always agree.

What I believe in may be different than what you believe in, but you are still important to me.

You are important to me no matter what you believe. No matter what side of the story you are on, you matter.

I hope we can come together. I hope we can learn together. I hope we can grow together.

And I hope that as we move forward past the hate, the bigotry, the judgment, and all the things that keep pulling people apart, we can remember something simple.

Deep down, we are human.

We are in this world together.

You are not alone.

Even when you feel alone.
Even when your mind tells you that you are.
Even when the world feels heavy and it feels like no one sees you.

You matter.

You matter more than you think.
You matter more than you know.
You matter more than your mind will allow you to accept.

So get up.

You matter.

Waiting feels productive when you call it preparation.

I’ve done that more times than I want to admit.

Told myself I was getting ready.

Waiting for the right time.

Waiting for the right feeling.

Waiting for everything to line up just enough before I finally moved.

But sometimes preparation is just fear wearing a better name.

At some point, you have to stop waiting on perfect and take the step in front of you.

Not because it’s easy.

Not because you feel ready.

But because staying still costs something too.
