💗 Walking for a Cause & Remembering One of Our Own💗
We attended the Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk to honor those who have battled breast cancer, celebrate survivors, and remember those we have lost.

This year, our walk held an especially special meaning as we remembered Mary Bell, one of our own employees who courageously battled breast cancer. Mary touched so many lives, and her memory continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. 💕

We are honored to walk in her memory and in support of everyone whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer.

This week, Savoy Care Center is giving a special THANK YOU to our dietary team for helping keep our residents well fed and making mealtime something to enjoy.

A special shoutout to our Dietary Manager, Keisher Terry! From overseeing residents’ dietary needs to listening to their preferences and keeping things running smoothly, Keisher puts care into every part of her work.

Please join Savoy Care Center in congratulating Yvette Fontenot, SSD, our October Employee of the Month! 🌟

For the past three years, Yvette has been a valued member of our team, serving as our Social Services Director. Her dedication and compassion help ensure our residents feel supported, respected, and cared for. She takes pride in her work and consistently goes above and beyond to meet the needs of those we serve.

Outside of work, Yvette enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and stepdaughter. She also enjoys reading, attending Bible studies, and giving back to her community. Her favorite saying, “Fix it, Jesus!” reflects the faith and warmth she brings to her daily life.

Yvette, thank you for your commitment to our residents and the meaningful contributions you make to Savoy Care Center. We are grateful to have you on our team!

Please join us in celebrating Brenlye Reed, LPN, our Employee of the Month for September!

Brenlye has been part of our team for over a year, serving as our MDS nurse while working incredibly hard to balance her responsibilities and pursue her RN degree. She stays on top of everything, gives her very best every single day, and truly lights up every room she walks into.

Outside of work, Brenlye enjoys cooking, shopping, and spending quality time with her family — especially her precious son, Tatum, whom she adores.

We are so fortunate to have Brenlye on our team and are grateful for everything she does. Congratulations, Brenlye — you are such a blessing to us all! 💛

Congratulations to our employee of the month Candice Ortego , CNA. She has been employed here for 6 years, has 2 girls and one boy and 4 beautiful grandchildren. In her free time , she enjoys spending time with her mom and grandkids. She states “I take care of my residents like I would like someone to take care of me“. 👏

Candice consistently goes above and beyond in caring for our residents. She works hard, takes pride in what she does, and most importantly, treats each resident with respect, dignity, kindness, and compassion. ❤️

Her dedication and genuine care make a difference in the lives of our residents every day. We are so grateful to have her as part of our team !
