Our beliefs about fitness have been shaped more by marketing more than they have been shaped by science.

We’ve been taught that more sweat = better.
More soreness = progress.
More intensity = better results.

And much of the group fitness industry has been built around that idea.

Accumulate more work.
Tolerate more fatigue.
Endure more discomfort.

Because it’s easy to make a workout incredibly hard without making it incredibly effective.

We’re not building Local Motion to fit into the group fitness industry.

The industry doesn’t need another machine, gimmick, or new workout concept.

It needs a system.

A system built around what actually matters.

Two of the most important predictors of longevity are VO₂ max and lean muscle mass.

So our programming is designed to intentionally develop both — while giving you the ability to apply them, recover from them, and continue progressing.
