Fall for Books has been SO much fun! 🍂🍁📚

Here are the books we’ve already received from our awesome donors just over the past week…to give to mamas in our Ready On Arrival classes. This November’s class will focus on literacy, and we plan to give each mama a book to take home with her for her children.

🩵 Working Genius: Life First Edition! 🩵 Yesterday, we were blessed by our dear friend, Pastor Phil and his wife, Emily with a delicious meal and a working genius session where we got to strategize together and get to know our team’s strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for collaboration. 💡

We LOVE pouring into our Life First and First Care team. 🩵 This work can be difficult some days…though simultaneously the biggest privilege and blessing. That’s why it’s so crucial for our team to get to know and trust each other…and why taking time for education and growth opportunities like this is so important.

Such a great day! Thanks Pastor Phil, Emily, and all who made this possible for us! 🙌

Life First is collecting baby books to give moms and dads at one of our upcoming parenting classes! 📚

The parents who attend this class will be learning about the importance of literacy, how and why to read to children, and suggestions for keeping children engaged in reading from a young age and throughout their whole lives. We need donations of NEW baby/toddler board books of all types. Books can be Christian-themed, such as "Baby's First Bible" but can also be classics such as "Goodnight Moon," "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," "The Going to Bed Book," and others. We are so grateful for Pastor Chris Rhodenhizer, our wonderful Church Ambassador Shannon, and the generous congregation at Image Church . It was a joy to spend time together, share updates, express our gratitude, and kick off a Baby Bottle Campaign in support of our mission.
