Today we went bananas for banana month! Thank you to Mimi of James River Home Health and Hospice for bringing all the fixings for amazing banana splits. Everyone enjoyed todays surprise! We had a range of toppings from chocolate, strawberry, caramel, whipped cream, m&m’s, reeses pieces and a variety of sprinkles to choose from! The residents had fun picking their favorite toppings for their sweet treat.

There is nothing quite like the unconditional joy a therapy animal brings to our center! 🐴
Today, our residents welcomed a very special and stylish visitor from Cloverleaf Equine Center. Thanks to a wonderfully generous community donation, Eleanor now has a magnificent new van to travel in comfort and style for her visits.
Our residents spent the morning sharing fond stories of growing up with horses, enjoying Eleanor’s fresh summer haircut, and showering her with plenty of well-deserved attention and pets. A huge thank you to Clarice and Laura for bringing her to see us and for helping us inspire peace of mind and true happiness today.

A huge thank you to Drew with Care With Love for sponsoring today’s wonderful gardening event.
Our residents had a beautiful afternoon reminiscing about their own past gardens and their lifelong love of flowers while putting together new planter boxes for our community. Drew didn't just sponsor the day—he jumped right in to help plant and shared some great stories with the group!
Everyone is so excited to watch these blooms grow and see our courtyard become even more colorful and vibrant. 🌸✨
