Emotions can be manipulative! They change as we change, our environment, our heart posture….discernment is an elusive skill that even some of the most disciplined persons lack! Instead of trying to control the emotions….practice ‘letting’ them! Give yourself a safe time and place to release them. Put them on a schedule! Process what you can….and allow His Grace to resolve the rest! ❤️

Hey everyone! Super excited to share some big news – I've just kicked off my very own mental health journey at my own outpatient private practice, The Many Pieces of Me Serenity Center! 🤗🎉

So, a bit about me: I've been in the nursing game for a solid 18 years 🙌🏽(nursing assistant through nurse practitioner), jumping through the hoops of the ER, progressive care, corrections , long-term care, pediatric special needs, and even sexual assault forensics. Yeah, it's been a ride!

On the personal front, I'm a single mom rocking it with three awesome daughters (🙏🏽pray for me, lol!). Did I mention I'm also an Air Force Captain vet🇺🇸? Discipline and dedication, folks!🫡

Coming from a lower middle-class, minority family🇻🇮, i’m familiar with the real struggles. Now, I'm on a mission to offer mental health care that goes beyond just the basics.
