KY reimbursement rate decrease-4%

📣 We received this letter from KY Medicaid yesterday!!
Clearly our legislators do not have children with autism and special needs!
Speech, occupational and many other professionals have received a 4% reduction (after not having an increase in approximately a decade)!
The cost of living has increased and our KY legislators thought it would be a good idea to lower our reimbursement rates.
FYI, KY has one of the lowest reimbursement rates in the country!
This will ultimately affect all our providers, local hospitals and schools (yes, school therapists bill Medicaid too).
This isn’t political, this is personal!

Please write our legislators! It doesn’t have to be a lengthy email! But our voices need to be heard!
No voice is louder than a mother and father with a child who has a special need and requires therapy!
