The Premier Dental Care Team will cater to your every need, and make every visit with us an enjoyable and positive experience. Reservation Policy:

Confirmation Reminder - Prior to your reservation you will receive a request for confirmation via phone/email/SMS. We require that you confirm your appointment 48 business hours in advance. If we do not receive a confirmation 48 business hours in advance, your appointment will be automatically cancelled and you will need to call our office to reschedule. Changes to your reservation - If you need to make a change to your reservation, we require 48 business hours prior to your scheduled reservation for changes/cancellations. Unfortunately we are unable to process changes/cancellations outside of our business hours, as our afterhours phone service is for dental emergencies only. You will need to call our office during normal business hours for us to process the changes to your reservation. Appointment changes/cancellations will not be honored during emergency hours. Cancellations/No-Show – If you do not provide us with 48 business hours for your cancellation, or fail to show up to your confirmed scheduled appointment, you will be charged a $50 cancellation/no-show fee.

Flossing even just 1x a week can make a difference! 🙌 😆

A study presented at the American Stroke Association's International Stroke Conference 2025 found that people who flossed at least once a week had:

• 22% lower risk of ischemic stroke
• 44% lower risk of cardioembolic stroke (a stroke caused by a blood clot originating in the heart)
• 12% lower risk of atrial fibrillation (AFib), a common irregular heart rhythm that increases stroke risk.

Interestingly, these associations remained even after accounting for toothbrushing habits and regular dental visits, suggesting that flossing may provide unique oral health benefits beyond brushing alone.

Researchers believe the connection may involve gum inflammation. When plaque and bacteria accumulate between teeth, they can trigger chronic inflammation in the gums. This inflammation may contribute to processes involved in cardiovascular disease and stroke. Flossing helps remove plaque from areas a toothbrush cannot reach, supporting healthier gums and potentially reducing the body's inflammatory burden.

A simple habit that takes less than a minute could have benefits extending far beyond the mouth.
