Some Iowa courthouses just demand a second look.

This is the Delaware County Courthouse in Manchester, Iowa, and that clock tower is hard to miss. The red brick, stone details, steep rooflines, and copper accents give it the kind of character you just don’t see in modern buildings.

It’s one of those classic Iowa courthouse squares where the building still feels like the centerpiece of town — standing tall above the streets, neighborhoods, and trees around it.

And just like that, we’re back to our normal population!

We were so happy to see it grow today as we welcomed RAGBRAI riders from all over. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success.
