Charlotte had quite an exciting day!
She was able to attend The Connecticut Renaissance Faire and people-watch, entertainment-watch, and watch lots of people eating turkey legs. She was not as impressed by my pickle 🤣😜

Back on the mat…. This week has some LONG and busy days!
The shift to September feels like autumn -
The shift to autumn feels energizing -
The shift to energizing feels good!

While I recognize how many folks love summer and the short nights, filled by cricket chirps, i find the slowly lengthening nights stokes my inner ‘let’s get this done’ fire!

Had some help at Veterans Base Camp today as i headed into the garden!!!!!!
If anyone loves to garden? We could use some help…. The strawberries need to be thinned out, some weeding needs to happen, and some general clean-up to get fall-ready is needed….
I got to snag some delish tomato, basil, & cukes for my efforts today! 😉😁

And that’s a wrap in Denver!!!! Great chance to re-connect with some folks and connect with new colleagues!!!
Late nights, early mornings, full days - need to get my money’s worth 😝 but coming home with some new ways to think about my profession, the work i do, and the research i want to do 😁
