This Memorial Day, Unity Medical Center pauses to remember and honor the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice and dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten. 🕊️

Please note that our Administration Office and Outpatient Registration will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day.

🚑 Our Emergency Room will remain open 24/7 to continue serving our community.

All offices will reopen on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 7:30 a.m.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dr. Oscar “Buzz” Spivey. Dr. Spivey was a dedicated physician who faithfully served our community for many years and was an integral part of United Regional Medical Center prior to the merge with Medical Center of Manchester.
His compassion, commitment to patient care, and impact on countless lives will never be forgotten. Dr. Spivey leaves behind a legacy of service and kindness that touched not only his patients, but also his colleagues and the entire community.

On behalf of all of us at Unity Medical Center, we extend our deepest thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt condolences to the Spivey family, friends, loved ones, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be greatly missed and forever remembered. 🤍
