Last night, Lauren, Elizabeth, and Beth joined other community acupuncturists from around New England for a regional meeting for People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA).

Thanks to Justine and Andrew at Acupuncture Together in Medford, MA for hosting.

We were joined by other colleagues from around Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Last night Justine and Andrew hosted the POCA () New England regional meeting at Acupuncture Together followed by a social gathering in Justine’s backyard. Community acupuncturists and colleagues from Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire joined together to connect and collaborate.

Last year, 800 people over the age of 65 participated in a trial using acupuncture for chronic low back pain. Many reported that acupuncture worked as well as, or even better than, conventional therapies.
