When someone walks into the office, oftentimes the first thing they say is how much they love the desk.
To me, what makes the desk more special is the story behind it and how it parallels our current journey.
In September, standing up for myself led to an unexpected and abrupt forced departure from an office I poured nearly five years of my heart into; and patients who became a family to me.
To anybody that was hurt by that departure, from the bottom of my heart, I can't express how sorry I am and how horrible I've felt.
With my sudden removal from the office, I did anything I could to open a space as quickly as possible, to continue to see anyone who could find us.
So thanks to and my dad, we drove to Rhode Island to pickup what I thought was our front desk... It turned out to be pallet wood, missing pieces, water logged with nails sticking out everywhere and I couldn't help but realize that it looked exactly how I felt.
We began to work on it together as a team, straightened it out, added support, got rid of the painful parts and turned something that represented a struggle, into the centerpiece that it is now.
Just as the the desk is a centerpiece to the office, the team we have and the office we're building will be a centerpiece to Manchester.
To anyone who is looking for us, we are here and ready to serve you.
With love Dr. Zack
