Please keep this family in your prayers for their little girls recovery. No child should have to endure this level of suffering.
🩷Emma update 7/16:
1 Chronicles 29:13 NASB
Now therefore, our God, we thank You and praise Your glorious name.
We thank God for saving us from our sins and for helping Emma. Emma had a rough day yesterday and still struggles to keep her morning feed down. We're grateful the team is open to coming up with solutions. We'll try a new feeding solution soon. As another answer to prayer, Nicki and I spent time with Adalyn yesterday. Emma's big sister rode her first trolley! We look forward to the day when Emma will be well enough to ride. We're also taking our first steps to be at the SKIP Learning clinic, so we appreciate your continued prayers.
Please continue praying for her brain, for food to stay down, for her heart, for her to start moving her arms and legs voluntarily, for her ability to swallow, to speak, and for her interactions with the environment to improve.
Thank You, God, for who You are and for all we have in You. Thank You for giving wisdom and knowledge to the doctors and nurses. We praise You for the lovingkindness You've displayed to us. God, You are so good. Emma is still progressing, even with an upset stomach. She knows our voices and tries to find us in the room. She's smiling more easily! She's getting stronger and can sometimes lift her neck to try to move towards you. She worked on rolling around on the mat during physical therapy. She seemed more comfortable and didn't scream like she did yesterday. You can see life in her eyes that wasn't always there. God is working! He is blessing us! Praise His holy name. Give Him glory, even on the hard days. We see His face! We feel His love. We trust Him to guide and direct us, whatever may await. Thank you for being part of our journey. We're grateful for your support and love.
