👀We brought this pretty girl in for a dental, but somebody forgot to tell those BLUE EYES not to steal the show! 🥹💙

🦷 But pretty smiles start with healthy teeth! Did you know dental disease can develop even when your pet seems perfectly happy and healthy? Regular dental exams help keep those pearly whites in tip-top shape!

👀 FUN FACT: Some dogs have one blue eye and one brown eye! It’s called heterochromia. Genetics sure knows how to make our pups unique! 💙🤎

Xena, those eyes deserve their own fan club! Who else is officially a member? 🙋‍♀️🐾

Drop a 💙 if you couldn’t scroll past those eyes!

👅 Tongue out, worries out! Meet Desmond! 🐶💙

That happy face deserves a spot on your feed!

Here’s a little dog fact: dogs don’t sweat the way humans do. They primarily cool themselves by panting, along with some sweating through their paw pads.

So when your pup is panting, pay attention to the situation. Panting after exercise or in warm weather can be normal, but excessive panting, weakness, or difficulty breathing needs prompt veterinary attention.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and keep those tails wagging!

Dutch being a super cool boy while getting his laser therapy. 😎🐶💙

He’s just chilling there like, “Yep, I know what I’m doing.” 😂

🐾 LASER THERAPY TRIVIA:
Therapeutic laser uses specific wavelengths of light to deliver energy to targeted tissues. It may be used as part of a veterinary treatment plan to help with pain, inflammation, and supporting the healing process.

And Dutch? He’s clearly got the most important part down: being a very good boy while getting his treatment. 😎✨

🐾 Meet Red Baron! 🐾

Just look at this little red fluffball! 🥹❤️ He found himself the coziest spot and decided that this is where he belongs.

🐩 Poodle fun fact: Poodles are incredibly intelligent dogs and were originally bred to retrieve game from the water. Their curly coats actually helped protect them from the cold while swimming!

So yes, Red Baron may look like a tiny teddy bear, but somewhere under all those curls is an athlete. 😂

Although judging by this photo, his athletic activity today is mostly… lounging. 😴❤️

🐶 Meet Glizzy & Murphy!

These two adorable Dachshund puppies stopped by Mandeville Animal Hospital, and we just had to share their sweet little hello! 🥰

Those long bodies, short little legs, floppy ears, and curious puppy faces… Dachshunds really do have a way of stealing the spotlight! 😂❤️

🐾 Dachshund Trivia!
Did you know the name Dachshund comes from German words meaning “badger dog”? The breed was originally developed to hunt badgers, with their long, low bodies helping them navigate underground burrows. Pretty impressive for such tiny pups! 🐶💪

Glizzy and Murphy may be little, but they come from a breed with a BIG history! 💙

Thanks for bringing these two cuties to see us! 🐾

Meet Sebastian! 🐶💜

Say hello to Sebastian, an adorable little Yorkie boy! 🥰🐾

With those big puppy-dog eyes, sweet face, and his tiny tongue making a special appearance, Sebastian definitely knows how to steal the spotlight. 👅💕

Yorkie trivia: Did you know Yorkshire Terriers were originally bred in England to catch rats in textile mills and mines? Despite their tiny size, Yorkies are known for being confident, energetic, and full of personality. Talk about a big personality in a little package! 😂🐶

Sebastian is certainly showing us that Yorkies may be small, but they have plenty of charm to go around. 💜

Does your pet have a cute little quirk that makes them uniquely adorable? Tell us about them in the comments! 🐾

And when your furry family member needs care, Mandeville Animal Hospital is here to help keep those tails wagging. 🐶🐱💜

Honey was all smiles as she got ready to head home! 🥰🐾💜

She had been such a sweet girl during her time with us, and we were so happy to see her reunited with her family. There’s just something extra special about that moment when a pet realizes it’s time to go home. You can almost see the excitement in their faces! 🏡🐶💕

Going home also means getting back to the people, familiar smells, favorite spots, and routines that make them feel safe and loved. A calm, comfortable home environment can make a big difference for pets, especially when they need a little extra rest and TLC.

For Honey, it was time to leave the clinic and get back to her favorite place: home with her family. 💜🐾

We were so happy to see you, sweet Honey! 🥰
