“We often want God to show us the entire staircase before we’re willing to take the first step. God usually asks for obedience before He provides the understanding.

The truth is, faith isn’t believing when everything makes sense. Faith is continuing to trust God when it doesn’t.

You don’t have to understand God’s plan to trust His character. Just take the next step and trust Him with the rest.”

“The things I prayed for God to remove me from are now the exact things I look back on with gratitude.

Because without those seasons, I wouldn’t have grown into the person I needed to become for what He had planned next.

I think sometimes we want the mountain top without the climb.

But the valleys God brings you through are often the same ones that prepare you for the peaks He’s leading you toward.

So if you’re in that season right now…

Keep going.

Keep trusting.

God is still working even when you can’t see the view yet.“

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper”
Isaiah 54:17

This verse is one of those scriptures that’s easy to misunderstand.

God never said the weapons wouldn’t form.

He never said there wouldn’t be struggles.
He never promised we wouldn’t face hard seasons.
He never said following Him meant every door would open and every road would be easy.

Actually… He tells us the opposite.

The weapon may still form.

The doubt.
The disappointment.
The setbacks.
The seasons where you wonder why things are happening the way they are.

But here’s the promise:

It will not prosper.

The things meant to break you don’t have authority over what God is building in you.

"For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins." Matthew 6:14-15

There are some things we carry that God never intended us to carry.

Bitterness.
Resentment.
Unforgiveness.

The hard part about unforgiveness is that we often convince ourselves we're hurting the other person by holding onto it. In reality, we're usually the ones paying the price.

I've learned that unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to get sick.

The person who hurt you may have moved on. They may not even realize the weight you're carrying. Meanwhile, every time you replay what happened, every time you hold onto the offense, it continues to steal your peace.

Forgiveness doesn't mean what happened was okay.

It doesn't mean there aren't consequences.

It doesn't mean trust is automatically restored.

It simply means you're surrendering your right to hold onto the offense and allowing God to deal with what you can't.

That's exactly what Christ did for us.

None of us deserved forgiveness, yet He offered it freely.

Imagine if Jesus kept score the way we often do.

Imagine if He waited for us to earn His grace.

Thankfully, He didn't.

Maybe today isn't about forgiving someone because they deserve it.

Maybe it's about forgiving them because you deserve the freedom that comes from letting it go.

Whatever you're holding onto, give it to God.

The weight gets lighter when you stop carrying what was never yours to hold.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
— Galatians 6:9

Most people only see the harvest.

They don’t see the early mornings.
The setbacks.
The doubt.
The prayers prayed in silence.
The moments where quitting felt easier than continuing.

But that’s where faith is built.

Lately, I’ve been reminded that growth doesn’t always look exciting while it’s happening. Sometimes it just looks like showing up again. Trusting God again. Continuing to do the right thing even when you can’t yet see the outcome.

That’s hard in business.
Hard in marriage.
Hard in leadership.
Hard in life.

We live in a world that wants instant results. But God often works through process, patience, and perseverance.

A harvest doesn’t happen overnight.

The farmer still has to plant.
Still has to water.
Still has to trust that what’s happening beneath the surface will eventually break through.

Maybe that’s where you are right now.
Tired.
Waiting.
Wondering if any of it is working.

Keep going.

Not because it’s easy.
Not because you have all the answers.
But because God honors faithfulness.

Don’t quit before the harvest.
