Tysha's passion for dentistry began at just 15 years old when her father developed ameloblastoma of the lower jaw. It was a dental hygienist who first noticed the growth — leading to further testing and ultimately making a lasting impact on her family’s life. Today, she carries that experience with her into every patient interaction.

✨ What she loves most about being a hygienist:
“The smiles my job brings to my community brings me purpose.”

🦷 What patients can expect in her chair:
“A nonjudgmental friend.”

When she’s not helping patients achieve healthier smiles, you can find her gardening with her sassy schnauzer and quirky dachshund, reminiscing about her favorite places she lived as a military brat (Japan and Puerto Rico!), or enjoying a big coffee malt 🍦☕.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the heroes who served and sacrificed for our freedom. All Affordable Smiles clinics will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of the holiday. We hope everyone has a safe and restful weekend! 🇺🇸
