Today’s feature is our Hair Salon! Having an onsite salon allows families a bit more ease from weekly routines. Decorated to be an elegant space within our senior home, the salon features a hair washing sink and styling chair. The wallpaper is sourced from www.funkypaper.com and the paint color is SW Charming Pink at 50%.

Lynnwood Place Manager, Megan is an LPN with patient experience in a healthcare setting. Moving into the Residence Adminstrator position, she will be responsible for overseeing residence care plans, communicating with families, planning events and activities, and staff scheduling.

Thank you to all our volunteers who came to tour Lynnwood Place and be photographed by our amazing brand photographer Jillian Marie Photography. We shared a delicious meal by Chef Brad and everyone got to meet Megan our new manager! It was a beautiful day of breaking bread together on our brand new dining table. Special thank you to all our volunteers and our builder Oak Creek Construction, LLC for working diligently this week to make it happen!

We’ve hired local craftsmen to decorate our senior home - introducing Bark&Brushes from Abita Springs who built this custom Magnolia wood dining table for 12! We’re moving in each furniture item piece by piece, and it’s starting to come together! Opening soon!

Shopping Time! We went with Chef Brad to Restaurant Supply in New Orleans to get our kitchen started for our 12 bedroom assisted living home. We had a great time selecting supplies and planning for future meals for our residents.

Our entryway is nearly complete. We hired Walls by Ashley for a professional wallpaper install of this gorgeous mural wallpaper sourced from Wallism. Every detail matters and we couldn’t be happier with this splash of color and new artistic element added to our assisted living home. Stay tuned for more!

We are setting up our first senior Resident bedroom. This will be a showroom for families so they can see how each bedroom can be set up. Check out our HomeGoods haul for comfortable elements that add color and softness to the room. We had fun setting everything up today, and can’t wait to welcome our first residents.
