There are some stories that change the course of a life forever. For Dr. Jason, that story began right here with his dad.
As a young boy growing up in Mandeville, Dr. Jason watched his father become paralyzed after a severe accident. Like many families facing a crisis, they searched everywhere for answers, moving from doctor to doctor looking for help.
What happened next would shape the rest of his life.
One neurosurgeon explained something that Dr. Jason had never considered. He told them that the accident itself wasn't necessarily the entire problem... It was the event that exposed years of underlying spinal degeneration and dysfunction. He even shared that earlier intervention and proper spinal care may have helped prevent the series of complications that followed.
As a child, Dr. Jason remembers feeling angry and frustrated, asking, "Why did my dad have to get in that accident?" But that experience eventually became something much bigger: a calling.
Today, every patient who walks through our doors benefits from that perspective.
