Therapy and medication management are not the same thing—and sometimes both can be part of mental health care.
A therapist may help you:
• understand emotions and behavior patterns
• process experiences
• build coping skills
• improve relationships
• work through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or stress
A psychiatric provider may help you:
• complete a psychiatric evaluation
• clarify diagnosis
• review medication options
• monitor response and side effects
• adjust treatment over time
Mental health care is not one-size-fits-all.
At Pierce Counseling, therapy and psychiatric services are available within the same collective, making it easier to understand your options.
Lilia Henriquez, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for teens ages 15+, adults, and older adults.
Her approach is supportive, practical, trauma-informed, and collaborative, with in-person and telehealth appointments available.
Lily is currently accepting BCBS and private-pay patients.
