This morning, STHS Spiritual Care Services Coordinator Dana Trahan and STHS Bereavement Nurse Navigator Kristi Lamarque-Bordelon stopped by Lake 94.7 to talk about Walking with Angels – A Walk of Remembrance, as well as the bereavement services and support available through Spiritual Care Services at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.

Walking with Angels – A Walk of Remembrance will take place Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9–11 a.m. at the Koop Drive Pavilion, 21404 Koop Drive.

The Pediatric Inpatient Unit and Emergency Department at St. Tammany Health System’s flagship St. Tammany Parish Hospital recently announced its recertification as a Certified Autism Center by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). ✨

To renew the credential, at least 80% of the departments’ patient-facing staff completed up-to-date training to better support, assist and care for every patient, especially autistic and sensory-sensitive individuals and their families.
