On Monday, we celebrated National Eat Outside Day with a staff social! 🌞🍽️

While the idea was to eat outside, the Kansas heat had other plans! 🥵 So, our team wisely stayed inside, enjoyed their yummy, boxed meals, and soaked up the cool AC. Sometimes, the best way to celebrate “Eat Outside Day” is to appreciate the great indoors! 😂💙

Congratulations to Jen Haug, Sloan House Clinical Coordinator, Meadowlark’s September Employee of the Month! Jen was nominated by a fellow team member who highlighted the difference her leadership has made:

“Jen is always willing and able to help. As a new nurse, I’ve never felt more comfortable learning with a supervisor. She is always supportive and encouraging, while also being willing to teach and take the time to explain things when the opportunity comes up. I truly feel like I can learn and grow in my role because of the environment she creates. She is fantastic!”

Great leaders help those around them grow, and Jen is a wonderful example. Thank you, Jen, for the encouragement, patience, and leadership you bring to Sloan House and Meadowlark each day.
