Each year, the Rotary Club of Manheim supports and sends select Manheim Central High School Interact students to the RYLA leadership conference held at Messiah University. Interact is a Rotary sponsored service club for high school students and RYLA is an acronym for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. The group is made up of approximately 120-140 student leaders from South Central Pennsylvania. Pictured are students from left to right are Kelton Wenger, Silas Mitchell, and Mark Stalter. Also pictured are advisors Amy Burdyn, Andrew Hollinger, and LuAnn Wise. Marian Rossiter also attended RYLA and was awarded the William E. and Violet W. Nitrauer Leadership Award. This was presented to the top conferee at the conference, voted by all staff and students in attendance. It came with a scholarship of $750. Congratulations to all our RYLA students. You make us proud!
