We decorated pumpkins last week.

It was a VERY busy day so we weren't able to get as many photos as we'd have liked. We started our morning off with veterans coffee hour ( coffee sponsored by Port City Brew, thank you!), made apple " nachos" for dessert, then headed outside to enjoy the beautiful weather with a bonfire. We roasted marshmallows, listened to music, and enjoyed the sunshine and each others company. Then we headed inside for Wind Down Wednesday with Leanne ( who by the way saved the day when our original act had to cancel last minute, on her birthday no less).

This amazing 15 year old came to sing and play for us Wednesday. It was a spectacular performance!

A small glimpse of another busy week. Coffee and doughnuts with veterans, community bingo, junk journaling, an apple c***r and doughnut social with Ashley Gutowski from hospice, wind down Wednesday with a fantastic young musician, a couple fall crafts, and resident made desserts, (along with our regular activities not pictured). We sure have fun!

Our first veterans coffee hour was today. It turned out so well we are changing the time to 9:30 and the day to Wednesdays (starting next week, October 21st) to allow for more time for visiting. If you are a veteran, we would love to have you!
