It was sad to leave my campsite today. When I arrived 4 days ago, I was reminded of the incredible beauty and power of nature while exploring Acadia National Park. From the rugged coastline and granite cliffs to the peaceful forests and breathtaking ocean views, every turn offered something magnificent. Highlights were the private guided 5-hour e-bike tour on the carriage roads built by the Rockefellers as well as the incredible bridgesšŸ™‚ it was a perfect birthday event. And then there was the lobster! The other highlight was going out to sea in a four masted schooner where I got to help hoist the sails. All in all Acadia is truly one of America's treasures.

Yoga is much more than advanced postures.
The true foundation of the practice begins with awareness, breath, presence, and learning to honor your body exactly as it is.

Inside the Online 200h Teacher Training, we explore yoga beyond asana:
• philosophy and the Eight Limbs
• breath and meditation
• anatomy and accessibility
• teaching with compassion and mindfulness

This path was created for those who want a deeper relationship with yoga — not through performance, but through understanding and experience.

One of the greatest joys of camping is waking up somewhere new, stepping outside, and realizing there’s always something beautiful waiting to be discovered. So here in Virginia Beach, my campsite has been full of little adventures and unexpected moments that make traveling so special.

Every new place has its own energy, its own beauty, and its own stories to tell. I found a hidden trail, took a long bike ride, And we'll be heading to the beach to watch the 8:00 sunset. For me, exploring keeps life feeling fresh and alive. I think what makes it so special. Is that present moment awareness that I lose when I'm not traveling? It's easier when you're on the road...

There’s something freeing about slowing down, living simply, and realizing how much wonder there still is to see in the world. And no matter where I go, being in nature is just so beautiful to me!

Graduation week in Gainesville with family was one for the books—filled with celebration, nature, and unforgettable moments. From a joyful picnic honoring a hard-earned milestone for Annie, in the beautiful Paynes Prairie State Park to a peaceful five-hour kayak through Silver Springs which brought us face-to-face with alligators, a gentle manatee, countless bird species, and even monkeys hopping around in the trees....everyday was a gift.... So grateful for the memories, the adventure, and the incredible journey that brought us all together! šŸ’›

There’s something about the Outer Banks, North Carolina that quiets the noise and softens the edges of life. The endless horizon, the rhythm of the waves, the salty air— My worries and concerns just melt away... it's like a quiet meditation with nature... I am so grateful for moments like these, where time slows down and presence feels like enough. šŸŒŠšŸ’›

We are often taught to move away
from what feels uncomfortable.
To fix it.
To change it.
To become something else.

But the practice invites something very different.
Not to escape what we feel…
but to stay.

To witness what is arising
without immediately trying to change it.
Fear is something we create —
and something we are asked to face.

Grief is something we feel deeply —
and something we are asked to witness
and, in time, release.
This is not always easy.
But it is part of the path.

When we stop turning away
and begin to meet ourselves with awareness,
something begins to shift.

This is the quiet work of the practice.

I will be watching my daughter walk across the stage and receive her PhD later next month, and as I watched her defend her dissertation, my heart was filled in a way that words can hardly capture. The years of dedication, perseverance, late nights, and unwavering commitment have led to this moment, and I could not be more proud. It isn’t just the degree that moves me—it’s the strength, curiosity, and determination she carries within her that made it possible.

To see the little girl I once held grow into the brilliant, compassionate, and accomplished woman she is today is one of the greatest gifts of my life. My heart overflows with love and admiration for her. This milestone is only one chapter in what I know will be a life filled with purpose and impact. I am endlessly proud to call her my daughter and forever grateful to witness the incredible path she continues to walk. ā¤ļø Congratulations Annie!

Such a beautiful trip to Phoenix visiting. Amy. We took the weekend and drove to Bisbee, Arizona. A very funky, fun town. Really enjoyed being out of the cold and in 83° weather. I would highly recommend a trip to Bisbee Arizona should you ever be in this area. You wouldn't regret it
