Most pregnancy blood pressure problems don’t come with a warning.
No dramatic symptoms. No obvious sign.
Just a number you didn’t know was rising.
Here’s what actually matters:
If you’re pregnant, don’t guess your blood pressure.
Check it correctly:
✔ Sit quietly 5 minutes
✔ Feet flat on the floor
✔ Arm supported at heart level
✔ No caffeine/exercise right before
✔ Take 2 readings (1–2 min apart)
In pregnancy:
140/90 or higher = call your provider
Even if you feel “fine.”
Especially if you notice:
• Headache
• Vision changes
• Swelling
• Something just feels “off”
You also don’t have to figure this out alone.
At Crossing Medical Clinic:
🩺 Walk in anytime for a quick BP check (self-use station during business hours)
⏱ 15-minute nurse visits for a manual clinical reading
Blood pressure is one of the simplest things to check in pregnancy.
And one of the most important to get right.
