Livi Tucker Downs is off to the University of South Dakota to play Division I basketball. 🏀

During her junior year, a broken thumb threatened to keep her off the court at a big moment in her season. With 1,000 career points within reach, Livi knew she wanted to get back as soon as possible.

She chose to see Dr. Botker because of his experience in sports medicine. The team at OFC was able to get her in quickly, with seamless scheduling and an MRI that same day.

Livi was back on the court in under a month and went on to reach the 1,000-point milestone.

Today OFC was honored to be selected as the 2026 Mankato Area Public Schools Friend of Education! Four of our athletic trainers, Amy, Johnny, Dylan, and Mallory, were recognized for their contributions to the Mankato Area Public Schools community.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to provide athletic training services to student-athletes at Mankato East and Mankato West and to be a part of their school communities.
