💗STILL SEARCHING FOR A NURSE FOR KARSYN!

Karsyn has been home for over a month now and I’m so incredibly happy to have her home where she belongs. At the same time, I’m exhausted and still searching for an LPN. Caring for a medically complex child 24/7 is more work than any full-time job. It never stops! I love my daughter more than words can say, but this momma is desperately in need of a break and some time to breathe and recharge. I’m looking for an LPN who may be willing to help even if you can only work part-time hours. Experience with a trach and G-tube is preferred, but please reach out if you’re interested and willing to learn. If you or someone you know may be interested please message me directly or contact Shelby Healthcare and mention Karsyn’s name. Sorry to keep y’all waiting around for an update! Sis has had quite the week!! We’re officially a month home, and she’s already managed to make a trip back to St. Francis. Thank God it was just a short visit to check her levels and make sure everything was okay with the bleeding from her trach site.

Thankfully, all of her labs came back normal! She does have a mild infection around her trach site, but knowing Sis, she’s tough as nails and will push right through it like she always does.

Despite everything, we’ve been getting her out and about! We’ve been taking her on walks and even let her join in on a little pool party! Seeing her get to experience these normal little moments after everything she’s been through means more to us than we could ever put into words.

A month at home, and this girl is already proving just how strong she really is. ❤️

We brought the hospital home with us!

Sis is comfy, cozy, and absolutely SPOILED!

It’s officially been 3 weeks since we’ve been home, and things are finally starting to settle into a new normal. We’re getting into our routines, figuring things out, and just soaking up every minute of having our girl HOME where she belongs.

After everything she’s been through, seeing her comfortable and happy in her own home is something we’ll never take for granted.

The hospital may have come home with us, but so did the smiles, cuddles, and the sweetest little girl we could’ve ever asked for.

Sister is getting her PT and OT all in one session! She absolutely loves this playpen, and it’s amazing to watch her work so hard while having so much fun. Every little milestone is a big victory, and she’s making progress every day!

It’s been a very hard week, to say the least, but we are still so incredibly thankful to be home. ❤️

Sissy has had a few really tough days, and it’s been hard seeing her not feel like herself. Today wasn’t perfect, but it was a little better… and we FINALLY got a smile. 🥹

To every single person who prayed, donated, encouraged us, shared our posts, or helped make her homecoming so special, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We truly couldn’t have made it through this journey without you.

A special thank you, too, The Cleveland Police Department, Mannford Police Department, and Mannford EMS for giving Karsyn the VIP es**rt home. And our wonderful Neighbors for getting the house all decorated for her! Your kindness and the incredible welcome meant more to our family than words can express.

Today is a day we’ve prayed for, and fought for. Karsyn is finally home. ❤️

After an incredibly long journey filled with countless highs and lows, tears, prayers, fear, hope, and more emotions than we can even begin to describe, we’re finally beginning the process of bringing our sweet girl home.

We can’t wait to watch her make new memories, spend time with her big sister, sleep in her own room, play with her toys, and experience all of the little moments we’ve dreamed about for so long.

As exciting as this is, bringing Karsyn home also means preparing our home for her medical needs. During her long hospital stay, she has outgrown almost everything she owns. If you would like to help make her homecoming extra special, we’ve put together a list of items she’ll be needing.
