What if one of our caregivers was struggling to pay a bill, needed groceries, couldn’t find affordable childcare, needed a mechanic, or simply needed someone willing to help…

…and instead of saying, “I don’t know where to send you,” we could say:
“YES! We know someone who can help. Here’s their information.” 🙌🏽

THAT is what we’re trying to build! 🥹💙

We are creating a Community Resource Guide specifically to connect our caregivers and families with REAL people, businesses, organizations, and services that are willing to lend a helping hand.

BACK-TO-SCHOOL GIVEAWAY! 💙🎒

This past Sunday, Assisting Hands had the privilege of showing up for our incredible caregivers and their families with a Back-to-School Supply Giveaway!📚✏️

With school starting back this week, we know this time of year can bring a lot of excitement but also a LOT of stress for families trying to make sure their children have everything they need to start the year off strong.

So, we asked ourselves: What better way to support our team than to help lighten the load? 💙

We filled our office with school supplies, food, fellowship, and plenty of smiling faces! Our caregivers were able to bring their families, fill up those empty backpacks, enjoy some sandwiches and chips, and spend time getting to know one another.

And honestly... we loved every minute of it!🥹💙

It was such a blessing to meet more of our caregivers' wonderful families and watch our team connect outside of work. We know that homecare can sometimes feel like you're out on an island, you spend so much of your time going from home to home, caring for others, and pouring into your clients.

But at Assisting Hands, you are never alone.

We are a family.

We are beyond blessed to have the team we do, and we are honored to be able to give back to the people who give so much of themselves to others every single day.

Thank you to everyone who came out and shared this special day with us! We can't wait to continue creating moments like this every month and seeing even more of our Assisting Hands family at our upcoming events. 🎉
