🚧 Construction Update! 🚧

A lot is happening behind the scenes at our future home, even if it doesn’t always look exciting from the road!

Over the past several weeks, crews have been focused on preparing a strong foundation for the new building. This process required digging several feet into the ground—deep enough to completely cover a bulldozer in some areas—before carefully filling and compacting the soil to ensure a solid base for the years ahead.

While much of this work is happening below the surface, it’s a critical step in creating a facility that will serve our community well for generations to come.

We’re grateful to report that construction continues to move forward at a good pace, and we are hopeful to be in our new home this fall!

As we move closer to that day, we would appreciate your continued prayers:

🍦 A little sweetness for some very sweet people.

Today, we surprised our amazing volunteers with cold treats to help beat the Texas heat. No special occasion. No volunteer appreciation week. Just a small way to say thank you.

Our volunteers give their time, energy, talents, and hearts to serve others every single day. Mansfield Mission Center and Mansfield Mission Center Thrift Store simply wouldn’t be what it is without them.

We’re grateful for each person who chooses to spend their time making a difference in our community. You are seen, appreciated, and loved.

At our team devotional this morning, we talked about summits—the mountaintops we hope to reach and the challenges we face along the way.

The truth is, no one reaches the summit without first navigating steep climbs, obstacles, and moments when the path feels difficult. Growth happens in the climb.

At Mansfield Mission Center, we see that every day. Our neighbors are working through financial hardships, health challenges, food insecurity, and unexpected life circumstances. We also see incredible resilience, courage, and determination as they continue taking one step forward at a time.

As an organization, we're climbing too. Whether it's expanding services, building our new campus, or meeting growing needs in our community, we're reminded that meaningful work rarely comes without challenges.

Today, we're grateful for the journey, the people climbing alongside us, and the God who gives us strength for every step. The summit is worth it.

A huge thank you to our first FUGE group of the summer for spending the week serving alongside us at Mansfield Mission Center Thrift Store! 💙

These students jumped right in at our thrift store, helping sort donations, stock shelves, organize merchandise, and keep things running smoothly for our shoppers and community members.

We are grateful for their servant hearts, positive attitudes, and willingness to spend part of their summer making a difference in the lives of others. Thank you for choosing to serve with us—we loved having you and hope to see you again!

A heartfelt thank you to the Mansfield Women's Club, Mansfield, TX for their continued partnership and support of our mission. We were honored to recently receive a grant award that will help us continue serving our neighbors through programs that provide food, healthcare, financial assistance, and hope.

Community partnerships like this make a real difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve every day. We are grateful for the Mansfield Women's Club's investment in our community and their commitment to helping local organizations create lasting impact.

A big thank you to our partners at Mansfield Church of Christ for helping stock our Free Food Market!

This week, they donated 179 pounds total, including 102 pounds of food and 34 hygiene items and diaper packs for local families in need.

Every donation makes a difference, and we’re grateful for a church family that continues to serve our community with generous hearts. Thank you for helping us provide hope, dignity, and practical support to our neighbors.

A big thank you to Stephanie Coronado for supporting our Free Food Market! 💙

Stephanie is not only a dedicated volunteer, but she also brings so much positive energy to the Market every time she serves. Recently, she donated 10 bottles of shampoo, 7 pounds of salt, and 7 boxes of ramen noodles to help stock our shelves for local families.

We’re grateful for her generous heart, contagious enthusiasm, and commitment to serving our community. Thank you, Stephanie, for making a difference in so many ways!

There’s something really special about seeing kids learn the joy of giving back. ❤️

A couple of young community members stopped by to donate food to our Free Food Market, and they absolutely made our day!

Seeing children choose kindness, generosity, and compassion gives us so much hope for the future. Every donation matters, and moments like these are beautiful reminders that you’re never too young to make a difference in your community.
