✨ WHY DO I LOOK SO TIRED? ✨
It may not be your under eyes.
This patient came to me after having under-eye filler elsewhere and feeling disappointed with the results. The filler wasn’t necessarily the problem—the treatment plan was incomplete.
The tear trough doesn’t exist in isolation. Under-eye hollows are often influenced by volume loss in the cheeks and around the orbital rim. When these areas lose support, the under-eye hollow can become more pronounced.
If we only fill the tear trough without restoring the surrounding support structures, patients may still look tired because the root cause hasn’t been fully addressed.
For this patient, we treated:
✔️ Cheek support
✔️ Lateral orbital rim support
✔️ Tear trough
By rebuilding the foundation around the eye, we were able to create a smoother transition from the lower eyelid to the cheek and reduce the hollow, tired appearance.
This is why a full-face assessment matters. Sometimes the area that bothers you isn’t actually the area that needs the most treatment.
The goal isn’t to “fill a line.”
The goal is to restore balance and support so you look refreshed, rested, and like yourself.
