Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful Flowers with Friends activity hosted by one of our talented staff members Georgia, who is also a florist! Residents had the opportunity to create their own beautiful fresh floral bouquets to take home and enjoy.

Floral arranging is more than just a fun activity—it offers many benefits for older adults. Creating arrangements encourages creativity and self-expression, helps improve fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, and provides sensory stimulation through the colors, textures, and fragrances of the flowers. It also promotes social interaction, sparks conversation, and can boost mood while reducing stress and anxiety.

Our residents were excited to welcome Ruter's Farm Produce back to Havenwood for our Farmer's Market!

Every other Monday afternoon, residents & staff have the opportunity to shop for home jams & pies as well as fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables right here in our community. It's always a favorite event and a wonderful way to support local farmers while enjoying the best produce the season has to offer.

We look forward to seeing Ruter's Farm Produce throughout the summer and fall!

This month, we celebrated 20 residents with June birthdays and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon together. Home Instead's Vicki also kept everyone entertained with a fun round of trivia, bringing plenty of laughs and friendly competition.
