Okay, technically the apples were doing most of the dipping… but when caramel and marshmallow creme are involved, we’re calling it a win. 😄

A heartfelt thank you to Stephanie, Karena, Kayla, and all the dedicated social workers, nurses, pharmacists, and case managers who either coordinated or attended the North Memorial Hospital Fall Vendor Fair in Robbinsdale!

It is one of our greatest privileges to connect with the acute and post-acute care professionals who work tirelessly to ensure patients and families have access to education, trusted resources, and thoughtful long-term care solutions. At BeeHive Homes of Maple Grove, we believe exceptional memory care begins long before move-in. With a commitment to listening, educating, and building relationships rooted in trust, we can all collaborate on a more hopeful tomorrow for seniors requiring cognitive support. 💕 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and our team at BeeHive Homes of Maple Grove is proud to stand alongside the millions of individuals and families whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

Breast health matters at every age. While breast cancer becomes more common as we grow older-- awareness, education, and proactive conversations with healthcare professionals are important throughout adulthood. The American Cancer Society recommends that individuals with an average risk for breast cancer have the option to begin annual mammograms at age 40, receive annual screenings from ages 45–54, and transition to every other year at age 55, or continue annually. Other leading medical organizations recommend beginning screening at age 40. Individual risk factors and family history may warrant earlier screening, so we encourage everyone to have these conversations with their healthcare providers.

To those celebrating another year of survivorship, we celebrate with you. To those facing uncertainty, we stand beside you. And to those carrying the memory of someone dearly missed, we honor their legacy alongside you.

What happens when a community decides to show up? On September 19th, our BeeHive family gathered for our very own Walk to End Alzheimer’s—and looking back at these photos, we can’t help but smile.

Residents, families, friends, team members, and members of our community came together for an afternoon filled with walking, laughter, conversation, a wonderful silent auction. For those of us who love and care for people living with dementia, the fight to end Alzheimer’s is deeply personal. Thank you for continuing to get involved with BeeHive Homes of Maple Grove as we partner in stewardship of all the amazing individuals affected by Alzheimer's Disease. While the many ways it affects our lives can feel unfair, the love we share and unyielding commitment to togetherness can never be shaken.

Stay tuned for more photos, the donation totals, and a shout out to all the businesses that donated goods and services to the auction-- we couldn't have done it without so many partnerships.

The past several weeks at BeeHive Homes of Maple Grove have been absolutely filled to the brim with laughter, affection, dancing, self care, adventures, and creative ways to keep up that all-important lust for life that both our team and the residents have in common. We played "Guess The Resident", we moved our feet, we got back massages and manicures, we got sweet treats, we embraced good advice, and we basked in each other's company. Some of the nice words our team members exchanged on their Shine Cards recently for Assisted Living Week-- Shining Through the Years! Not only do we have longevity on our BeeHive team, but nearly all of our caregivers have been involved in one Assisted Living profession or another for their entire careers. We are so grateful for the skills and insights our team brings to the table. It has been a delight to read the kind remarks shared with one another.
