What do people see when they see autism, and what might they miss? Beyond what is visible are the stories, strengths, challenges, advocacy, acceptance, and experiences that shape each family’s journey.

Join the Early Childhood Resource Center for a three-part Parent Café on Understanding Autism: Beyond What You See beginning Thursday, November 5.

This Parent Café will create space to explore what happens behind the scenes for a family with a child living with autism. Topics include the realities of caregiving, caregiver well-being, the journey toward acceptance, and the moments of strength, exhaustion, joy, and hope that may not always be seen.
