Brian's Journey 2026 Healing the Body, Mind, and Spirit

Brian's Journey 2026 Healing the Body, Mind, and Spirit Many of you know I was diagnosed with Stage IV **Mantle Cell Lymphoma** in May 2021. Cancer affected me physically, mentally, and emotionally though.

I’ve been healing physically from the cancer since February 3rd 2022—after battling the insurance system. Healing continues, and in 2026 I move forward One Day at a time. Thank you for being part of my journey. Follow for daily posts. Brian, and many others win today,—cancer loses.

Happy National Reset & Repeat Day! 🌊☀️

Okay, I made that holiday up. 😂 But I think we all need one every once in a while.

Today is about getting back into my routine:

Gym. Beach. Work. Repeat.

More importantly, it’s about continuing to heal physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Sometimes starting over doesn’t mean going all the way back to the beginning. Sometimes it simply means waking up and saying, “Today, I’m going to try again.”

That’s exactly what I’m doing.

One day at a time. Keep showing up. Keep moving forward. And just keep going. ❤️

Much love and light from Ocean Ridge, Florida. We’ll see you tomorrow! 🌊

Today, August 12th, I’m declaring my own holiday: One More Sunrise Day. 🌅

When I heard the words “You have cancer,” I began looking at ordinary moments differently.

A sunrise. A phone call. Laughing with a friend. Walking along the ocean. Simply waking up to another day.

More than five years into my cancer journey, I’ve learned that we spend so much time waiting for life’s big moments that we can miss the little ones — but those little moments are life.

Today I’m grateful for one more sunrise, one more opportunity to help somebody, one more chance to tell the people I love what they mean to me, and one more day to make a difference.

What ordinary moment are you grateful for today? 🌅💚

Sometimes a routine checkup isn’t so routine after all.

In 2021, I walked into a physical feeling perfectly fine. That routine appointment and blood work eventually led to a Stage IV Mantle Cell Lymphoma diagnosis.

Today, I’m grateful to be standing on the beach in remission — but I haven’t forgotten the lesson that checkup taught me.

On Annual Medical Checkup Day, my message is simple: Don’t skip your physicals, blood work or recommended screenings. Listen to your body, follow up when something doesn’t look right, and be your own advocate.

Early action can change everything. 💚

🦁 Sometimes you have to go through the fight to find your roar.

On World Lion Day, I’m reflecting on what courage really means. Five years after hearing the words “You have cancer,” I’ve learned that courage isn’t about being fearless—it’s about continuing to move forward even when you’re scared.

From the beach in Ocean Ridge, Florida, here’s today’s reminder: Whatever battle you’re facing, keep moving forward—one day at a time. 🌊💚

Happy Friday, friends! 💚

As July comes to a close and we prepare to welcome August, I wanted to share a few thoughts from the beach this morning about gratitude, friendship, and the incredible people who have walked beside me throughout my cancer journey. Today is also a special day because I’m meeting three fellow blood cancer warriors for lunch for the first time. Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!

Good morning from the beach in Boynton Beach, Florida. 🌊☀️

Today’s video is a very personal one about scanxiety—that anxiety so many of us feel before scans, blood work, and doctor’s appointments. If you’ve ever been there, I hope this reminds you that you’re not alone. Thank you for always allowing me to share both my victories and my vulnerabilities with you. Much love and light.

Good morning, friends! 🌊☀️ There’s something about sitting by the ocean that reminds me to slow down and appreciate today. This morning, I wanted to share a personal thought about living with uncertainty after a cancer diagnosis and why I’m choosing peace over fear. I hope this encourages someone who needs to hear it today.

🌊 Good morning, friends! Today is Thursday, July 9, 2026, and it’s Call of the Horizon Day. Standing on the beach this morning reminded me how my cancer diagnosis changed the way I look at the future. I hope today’s message encourages you to keep looking toward your own horizon with hope.

Good morning, everyone! It’s Brian O coming to you from the beach in Boynton Beach, Florida. 🌊

Today is Be a Kid Again Day, and cancer has taught me something I’ll never forget: growing older is mandatory, but growing up is optional.

Let’s talk about why finding joy in the little things isn’t just fun—it can be healing.

💚 Brian, and many others win today… cancer loses.

I’m back on the beach in beautiful Boynton Beach, Florida, reflecting on a simple idea that has carried me through some of life’s toughest moments. Today I’m celebrating my own holiday—National Keep Walking Forward Day.

As a mantle cell lymphoma survivor and patient advocate, I’ve learned that we don’t need to have every answer. We simply need the courage to take the next step. I hope this message brings hope and encouragement to anyone who needs it today.
