Teaching my kids to grow food, preserve food, and actually know where dinner comes from.
Call me crazy, but I don’t think that’s a skill I will ever regret teaching them.
The grocery bills keep climbing.
The quality keeps dropping.
So we’re investing in skills instead.
Because “just run to the store” is a convenience, not a survival strategy.
And if teaching kids how to feed themselves makes me old-fashioned, I’ll wear that title proudly.
