This apple activity encouraged our patients to explore familiar foods while giving them the option to change the taste, look, and texture. For our red "paint" we used strawberry syrup, and for our green "paint" we dyed Cool Whip.

We love to hit multiple skill areas with a treatment activity, and this was a great way to work in tactile exploration and tolerance as well. Remember, activities don't need to be complicated to be targeted and effective!
