🌵 FunKids Clinic had a great time sharing our August crafts with those who wanted to participate.

Paper Crafts:

✴️ Pom pom shooters were a big hit! Kids had a blast (pun intended) working on their hand strength while battling their therapist in a pom pom shooting contest!

🏵️ Flowers were blooming as kids worked on scissor skills and direction following work this fun craft.

Food Crafts:

🐑 Kids enjoyed making (and eating) these incredibly cute sheep. Working those pincer grip skills just in time for school to start.

🚚 Log trucks, fire trucks, dump trucks and more! Our kids let their creativity fly with this craft!

🕵️‍♀️ Did your kiddo spot the yellow sunflower this month? It was a tough one this month! 🌻

☀️ Bringing the heat with this month's crafts and activities! ☀️

👀 Check out our July month bulletin board for fun summer activities, crafts, and information on disabilities and disability awareness.

🌞 July Paper Crafts! 🌞

🦉 Owl craft: perfect for fine motor development and working on handwriting while cutting out different shapes and drawing the owl's face and body.

🦋 Butterfly craft: great for hand strength using the sq**rt bottle to wet the coffee filter. Improve dexterity using those fingers to twist, tie, and twirl the pipe cleaners onto the butterfly.

🥣 Food Crafts! 🥣

🪱 Worm Craft: stringing cereal on rope candy is great to work on hand eye coordination, fine motor skills, and depth perception with a tasty treat to follow!

🐻 Beach Bear Craft: work on following directions, naming shapes, and using different sounds while making a yummy beach bear treat!

🎆 July scavenger hunt is up and running! 🎆

🌟 Although June has come to an end, our kiddos really enjoyed the new June crafts.

🪼Jelly Fish Activity: Using tools like scissors and a hole puncher, kids get to use their hand strength with this activity. Fine motor skills like stringing and knot tying are great ways to work on functional activities like tying shoes.

🍦Ice Cream Cone Activity: Work those fine motor skills with cutting, tracing, and glueing. Cognitive and language skills are getting stronger with direction following, naming shapes and colors, and planning.

Stay tuned for our exciting July crafts coming up soon! 🌟
