So let’s stop pretending people on EBT are the villain in your made-up economic horror story.

Almost 40% of SNAP recipients are CHILDREN.
Around 20% are elderly.
About 10% are disabled.

So who exactly are you raging at?
Toddlers? Grandmas? People in wheelchairs?

Because that’s what the numbers say.

And this whole “they don’t work” narrative? It’s tired. It’s wrong. And it’s lazy.

Between 74–86% of SNAP households with a working-age, non-disabled adult are employed or have earnings within a year.

That means they’re working.
They’re clocking in.
They’re paying taxes.
They’re doing everything you claim people should do.

The only difference? Their wages haven’t kept up with rent, groceries, and utilities.

But somehow a mom buying cereal with SNAP is the problem — not billion-dollar corporations raising prices every quarter?

Be serious.

A lot of these accusations aren’t based on facts. They’re based on imagination and superiority.

Needing help doesn’t make someone weak.
Struggling doesn’t make someone lazy.

But obsessing over what poor families buy at checkout?

That’s weird.
