Today, I stand humbled, grateful, and deeply honored to receive an Honorary Doctorate in Christian Counseling, with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy. While I already hold a doctorate in Human and Gender Rights in Chaplaincy, this recognition carries a different kind of meaning for me. It speaks directly to the heart of the work God has called me to do for over 30 years, serving individuals, couples, families, and communities through healing, faith, advocacy, and restoration.
This degree is not just a title. It is a reflection of countless lives touched, tears prayed over, trauma confronted, families encouraged, and hearts restored through service. To be acknowledged for the work I have poured into others does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. I accept this honor with humility, knowing every step of this journey was guided by God’s grace and purpose.
As a therapist, chaplain, coach, advocate, and servant leader, I remain committed to helping others heal from the inside out while strengthening marriages, families, and communities through Christian counseling and compassionate care.
Thank you to everyone who has supported, trusted, and walked alongside me throughout this journey. This honor belongs not only to me, but to every person whose story has intersected with mine.
To God be all the glory. 🙏🏽🎓🙏🏽
