September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month — a good reminder to pay attention when something in your body feels different.

Ovarian cancer symptoms can be easy to dismiss: bloating, pelvic or abdominal discomfort, feeling full quickly, or changes in bladder or bowel habits. Currently there is no routine screening test for ovarian cancer for women at average risk, which makes knowing your body and your family history especially important.

Your call to action: Know what’s normal for you and speak up when something new or persistent shows up.

"It started with that annoying twinge. Then came the constant urge to p*e, the burn, the ‘am I losing my mind?’ feeling. Yep—another UTI. I used to just chug cranberry juice and hope for the best, but this time I called my OBGYN right away. Turns out, waiting it out can make it worse. Now I know what signs to watch for, and what helps,

Bladder leakage is common, especially after pregnancy, childbirth, and hormonal changes — but it is not something you have to just “manage” forever.
If you’re planning your summer around bathrooms, pads, or avoiding certain activities, it’s time to talk.

Hey moms-to-be, the third trimester is an exciting time — and a great moment to make sure a few important details are in place before baby arrives.

Here’s a quick checklist:
• Have you registered with the hospital where you plan to deliver?
• Have you chosen a pediatrician or family medicine provider for your baby?
• Do you need a breast pump? Our team can help send a prescription if needed.
• Have you taken a childbirth or breastfeeding class?
• Would you like to schedule a visit with one of our lactation counselors?
• Have you talked through your early newborn feeding, sleep, and support plan?

A little planning now can help you feel more prepared, supported, and ready for the weeks ahead. Talk with your care team if you have questions — we’re here to help.
