✨🎡 The fair came to Maquoketa Care! 🎡✨
Our local county fair is one of the highlights of the summer, and while some of our residents weren’t able to attend this year, we made sure they didn’t miss out on the fun! ❤️
Our amazing staff transformed the day into a fair-filled celebration with carnival games like ring toss, coin toss, fishing for ducks, and everyone’s favorite—Pie in the Face! 🥧😂 Residents had a blast “pie-ing” members of our management team, and we think it’s safe to say everyone had just as much fun laughing together!
Of course, no fair is complete without delicious treats! Residents enjoyed caramel apples, corn dogs, fresh popcorn, refreshing fair-style lemonade, and fluffy cotton candy that brought back so many wonderful fair memories. 🍿🌽🍎🍋🍭
A very special thank you to Above & Beyond Hospice for generously donating the cotton candy and helping make our Fair Day even sweeter! Your kindness and support helped create smiles and special memories for our residents. 💙
We also want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to every staff member who helped bring the fair to our residents. Your creativity, enthusiasm, and willingness to go above and beyond made this day one to remember. Seeing our residents laughing, playing games, enjoying great food, and making memories together is what it’s all about.
At Maquoketa Care Center, we believe that even when our residents can’t make it to the fair, the fair can always come to them. ❤️🎠
