A little update on Ricardo ❤️‍🩹

Ricardo is showing signs of improvement with his deep-water swim therapy, which is encouraging to see! He still hasn’t eaten for us since intake, though, so we’re giving him regular IV nutrition and started oral tube feeding yesterday to help build his strength.

We’re taking things one day at a time and continuing to give this little fighter all the supportive care he needs to heal 🐢❤️‍🩹

Please keep the prayers and healing energies coming for this precious little one 🙏🏼✨

The hospital said blood from resident turtle Sam was matched for Myrtle to help the suspected lung injury heal.

💚 Baby Myrtle update 💚

Baby Myrtle had a long procedure yesterday with Dr. Doug Mader, who performed an endoscopy and repaired a sizable hole in her left lung ❤️‍🩹

She’s still in critical condition and is a long shot, but she’s back in the water and healing. We need all the prayers and healing energies we can get for this brave girl 🙏🏼✨ Please keep Myrtle in your thoughts 💚🐢

Hope is back where she belongs 🌊💙🐢

We’re so grateful for the incredible crowd who came out to celebrate Hope, and for our first responders who helped make her release possible ❤️‍🩹

From a devastating entanglement injury and the loss of her flipper to swimming back into the open ocean, Hope’s journey has been one of incredible resilience. That message of resilience feels especially meaningful today, September 11th ❤️‍🩹

See you at Sombrero Beach in Marathon this afternoon! Hope will arrive in the Turtle Hospital van at 12:45pm and the release will take place at 1pm 🐢💚

Hope’s release day is here! 🐢💚🌊

After months of medical care, rehabilitation, and a whole lot of determination, Hope is ready to return to the ocean! She’s healed from her devastating entanglement injury, regained her strength, and is ready for her second chance at life in the wild ❤️‍🩹

Her return on September 11th is especially meaningful. Just as our community and nation have faced deep trials and emerged with unyielding strength, Hope has endured profound trauma and fought her way back to life. Her journey reminds us that healing is possible after devastating loss. Her return to the open sea is a living testament to resilience, the power of second chances, and the unbreakable spirit of survival. Tomorrow, we celebrate Hope’s journey and the chance to watch her begin her next chapter 💚

Familia is one picky eater! 😅🦞 What can we say… this girl LOVES her lobster!

The good news is she’s still eating every day for us, and her blood levels are slowly but steadily rising 🙏🏼❤️‍🩹
