Today was such a busy day in Evergreen. Rock Around tha Clock Day was a huge success! The residents enjoyed lunch in a 1950s Diner with Malt shop music playing in the background. On the menu was cheeseburgers, french fries, peach cobbler, and coke floats. Some of us even took a ride in a pink convertible with the wind in our hair 😆🤣! We ended the day watching "Blast from the Past" with popcorn. I guess you could say today was a good day!!

Today, we took a Tour of Italy, complete with passports! The pasta with vodka sauce, garlic breadsticks, and Tiramisu was divine. And we even had a red wine to wash it all down. Thank you so much to Laura from The Brixton at Horseshoe Bay and Katie with Magnolia Hospice of Hill Country for doing this for us! We appreciate you two so much!
Every month they will come and a pick a different country to travel to. Next month will be Mexico!

We even had a visitor from next door come to celebrate National Campfire Day with us and roast marshmallows. Thanks for coming to visit us Julia!

🌴☀️ National Bikini Day + Root Beer Floats 🍦🥤🎶
Today we celebrated the best of both worlds—National Bikini Day and Root Beer Float! Don’t worry… our residents kept their bikinis safely tucked away. … or maybe not! 😆 we cooled off with delicious root beer floats, lots of laughter, and wonderful company. A huge thank you to Katie from Magnolia Hospice of Hill Country and Laura from The Brixton at Horseshoe Bay for treating everyone to these sweet, refreshing floats. The fun didn’t stop there! We were also treated to a wonderful performance by Mac, who delighted everyone with beautiful music. His talent had our residents smiling, singing along, and tapping their toes. Thank you, Mac!
