More exercises aren’t always the answer after knee replacement.

If you’re still struggling, the better question may be:

What is actually holding you back?

Is it swelling?
Strength?
Knee motion?
The way you’re walking?

When you know the problem, you can be much more intentional about what you work on next—instead of just piling on more exercises.

What’s your biggest challenge right now: walking, stairs, bending, or stiffness?

Tell me in the comments.

Physical therapy can end before you feel like your recovery is actually finished.

Julie had made progress — but she still didn’t know what her knee needed next.

That’s the part I hear from so many people after knee replacement:
“I’m better… but I’m not where I want to be. Now what?”

Sometimes the next step isn’t simply doing more exercises. It’s figuring out what is still holding your recovery back and what needs to happen next.

If that sounds familiar, comment CHECK and I’ll send you my free 60-Second Knee Recovery Check.

Does your knee-recovery routine look like a junk drawer?

Heel slides. Bike. Squats. Stairs. Walking. Errands. More stretching. Then another quick bend test just to see what happened.

That is a lot of activity—but it is not necessarily a clear rehab plan.

When everything gets thrown in at once, it becomes difficult to know what helped, what irritated the knee, and what needs to change.

Your knee needs structure—not panic and seventeen exercises before breakfast.

Comment BEND and I’ll send you my free 3-Minute Flexion Check to help you choose a clearer next step.

A fun day at the ProShot Pickleball Tournament! 🏓

I loved getting to meet players, answer questions, and help with quick movement and recovery strategies to keep them feeling good between matches and ready to get back on the court.

Pickleball asks a lot from your body — and a little attention to how you move, recover, and prepare can go a long way toward keeping you playing the game you love.

Play hard. Recover smart. Keep playing. 💪🏓

Your knee may be guarding—not failing.

After surgery, the muscles around the knee may tighten because your nervous system is trying to protect the joint.

That tension can make bending feel stiff, blocked, or unsafe—even when you are working hard.

Sometimes your knee needs to feel calmer and safer before it allows more motion.

That does not mean giving up on your bend. It means using the right approach instead of fighting the knee all day.

Comment BEND and I’ll send you my free 3-Minute Flexion Check to help you better understand your knee’s response.

I’ve been lucky enough to enjoy Leslie’s cooking firsthand, so I can say this cookbook is one to look forward to! So excited for her and can’t wait to have my own copy. ❤️📖

I didn’t write this cookbook because the world needed another cookbook.

I wrote it because after 40+ years in the kitchen, I realized cooking has given me so much more than dinner.

It gave me confidence. It brought people together. And it gave me countless nights around the table with family and friends—talking, laughing and being present.

If you…

• stare into the refrigerator wondering what to make
• save recipes but rarely cook them
• want to entertain but feel overwhelmed
• want to cook for the people you love with more confidence

…I wrote Forking Delicious™ for YOU.

There are 165 recipes inside, but I hope what you get from this book is much bigger than 165 meals.

I hope you stain the pages, write notes in the margins and discover recipes your family starts asking for by name.

Because some of the best moments of my life have happened around a table. I want to help you create yours. ❤️

Order using the link below by August 30 and I’ll personally sign your copy, gift wrap it and provide FREE shipping.

Please stop testing your knee bend every 20 minutes.

Testing is not the same as training.

Repeatedly checking your bend—especially when the knee is already irritated—can leave it more uncomfortable and leave you more frustrated.

And please do not compare your bend to someone online who claims they reached 130° by week two while apparently also reorganizing their garage.

Their knee is not your knee.

Base your decisions on how your knee responds—not someone else’s recovery highlight reel.

Comment BEND and I’ll send you my free 3-Minute Flexion Check to help you make a more useful decision than checking it again before lunch.

Is today a bend day—or a calm-down day?

Before pushing your knee harder, ask yourself:

Does my knee feel more swollen than yesterday?

Are my first steps more stiff or painful today?

Did my bend feel worse after yesterday’s activity?

If you answered yes to two or three, your knee may not need more force today. It may need a smarter dose and a chance to settle.

0–1 yes: Bend work may be appropriate.
2–3 yes: Consider making it a calmer day.

Comment BEND and I’ll send you my free 3-Minute Flexion Check to help you make that decision.

Is physical therapy ending soon—but your knee still doesn’t bend the way you expected?

That 6-to-12-week stage can feel incredibly stressful.

You may be hearing that you are “doing okay” while privately thinking:

But I don’t feel okay. My knee still won’t bend.

You do not need panic or a random pile of extra exercises. You need a clearer way to understand what your knee is telling you.

Comment BEND and I’ll send you my free 3-Minute Flexion Check to help you decide whether today should include bend work—or a calmer approach.

Your muscles probably aren’t lazy.
After knee replacement, swelling and pain can make it harder for your brain and muscles to work together.
That means doing more exercises isn’t always the answer.
Better movement.
Better muscle activation.
Better control.

That’s what helps people move forward.
