MEMORIAL DAY MURPH: BACK PAIN WASN’T GOING TO WIN 💪

One of my patients came in unable to bend forward without sharp shooting low back pain. Sitting at her desk all day made it even worse, and she thought her Memorial Day Murph workout was out of the question.

After a few chiropractic treatments, targeted home exercises, and using lumbar support at her desk, she’s now moving better, feeling stronger, and says she’s about 70% ready for Murph! 🙌

🚨🦶 HIGH ARCHES VS FLAT FEET: WHY BOTH CAN CAUSE YOUR PLANTAR FASCIITIS 🦶🚨

Many people think plantar fasciitis only happens with flat feet… but high arches can be just as problematic
and sometimes even trickier to fix!

🔹 FLAT FEET
Often create excessive inward rolling of the foot, increasing strain on the plantar fascia.

🔹 HIGH ARCHES
Can reduce shock absorption and overload the heel and ball of the foot, creating tension through the fascia.

Different mechanics.
Same frustrating heel pain.

A quick self-check 👇
👣 Flat footprint = likely lower arches
👣 Very narrow footprint = likely higher arches

The key is identifying HOW your foot moves because treatment should match your biomechanics.

💡 Helpful strategies may include:
• Calf stretching (not just achilles!)
• Foot strengthening
• Supportive footwear
• Mobility exercises
• Manual therapy
• Activity modification
