Hi everyone! My name is Regan Strauss, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself!

I’ve had the privilege of working with Emerald Coast Hospice for the past 5½ years as an Executive Hospice Care Consultant. What I love most about hospice is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families during such an important time. I love being able to build relationships, provide support, and help families feel informed and cared for when they need it most.

Outside of work, I’m a wife and a proud mom to Knox, our one-year-old little boy, who keeps us busy and smiling! My favorite place to be is with my family, whether we’re enjoying a beach day, spending time at the lake, or simply enjoying the outdoors.

When I’m not working or spending time at the farm, you can usually find me on a boat in Port St. Joe, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying time on the water.

I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, and be part of a team that helps bring comfort, dignity, and support to patients and their loved ones. I’m grateful every day to do work that has such a positive impact and to have the opportunity to serve the community I’m proud to call home. 💛

At Gentiva, caring for veterans goes beyond meeting medical needs—it’s about recognizing their service, honoring their stories, and creating meaningful moments that bring joy and connection. Recently, one of our patients in North Carolina, and a proud U.S. Army veteran, reminded us just how powerful those moments can be. Read his story now: https://birdeye.cx/78a2ve

We’re proud to announce the promotion of Latrelle Williams as the new Executive Director of our Marianna branch!

Latrelle’s journey with Emerald Coast Hospice is a true example of dedication, compassion, and leadership. She graduated from Chipola College in 2015 with an Associate of Science degree and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2017. She began her nursing career as an Emergency Room nurse before joining Emerald Coast Hospice in 2017 as an RN Case Manager. Her commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients and their families, along with her passion for leading others, makes her a wonderful fit for this role. We are excited to see all that she will accomplish and continue to bring to our team and the community we serve. Please join us in congratulating Latrelle on this well-deserved promotion.

In recognition of Spiritual Care Week, we would like to take a moment to honor our Chaplains, Gino Mayo and Roger Cosson! Gino has served in the ministry for over 40 years and has been a part of our Emerald Coast Hospice team for 18 years. Roger joined our team 4 years ago and has served in the ministry for over 35 years.

We appreciate our hospice chaplains and the care they provide to our patients and families. They have dedicated their life to providing spiritual guidance, comfort, and support when it's needed most. We celebrate them every day, but this is their "WEEK!"

We are blessed to have you both as a part of our team! Thanks for all you do
