Exciting things are happening at Jackson Hospital!

Construction is officially underway on our new Therapy Center, located on the former Golson Elementary School property next to Jackson Hospital.

This state-of-the-art facility is just the beginning of several exciting expansion projects designed to enhance the healthcare services available right here in our community. We are committed to investing in the future of Jackson County by expanding access to high-quality care close to home.

Funding for the new Therapy Center was made possible through an appropriation from the Florida Legislature and the Florida Rural Hospital Capital Improvement Grant Program. We are grateful for this investment in rural healthcare and the positive impact it will have on our patients and community for years to come.

We look forward to sharing updates as construction progresses and giving you a first look at what this new facility will mean for our community. Stay tuned, there's much more to come!

Former Jackson Hospital pediatrician Dr. MaryBeth Melvin recently welcomed her second baby at Jackson Hospital, a testament to the compassionate, high-quality care our Maternal Care team provides every day. From expectant moms and newborns to the entire family, our dedicated physicians, nurses, and staff are honored to be part of life's most precious moments.
